Privacy

No analytics, no forms

This website uses no analytics and no advertising scripts, and it sets no cookies of its own. It has no forms, accounts or newsletter, so it does not collect your name, email address or anything you type.

The music player

The “Listen” buttons open a player at the foot of the page. Only when you open it does the page load Spotify’s embedded player from Spotify. Until then nothing is requested from Spotify. Once the player is open, what Spotify collects or stores, including any cookies, is governed by Spotify’s privacy policy. Closing the player removes it from the page.

One preference stored on your device

If you use the “Reduce motion” switch at the foot of each page, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the name babaz-motion, so the site remembers it on your next visit. It never leaves your device. You can remove it by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.

Fonts and images

Fonts, images and the press kit are served from this website itself. No font or image is loaded from a third-party service.

Links to other sites

Links to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and Instagram take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies. Apart from the Spotify player described above, which loads only when you open it, nothing from those services is embedded in this website. Email and telephone links open your own mail or phone app.

Server logs

Like any website, the server that hosts this site may record standard technical information about requests, such as IP address, time and the page requested, for security and operation. The band does not use this information to identify or profile visitors.
